Who was Graham?
The idea of Graham seems to be influenced by George Graham, who is considered as the father of the chronograph and he can be easily called the most important man when it comes to reputation in the watchmaking industry. Graham began to earn his living for the famous watchmaker, Thomas Tompion but soon, he started his own well-known business while trying to outdo his master Thomas. Graham was also able to acquire the documents which belonged to the Greenwich Royal Observatory due to which he was able to build his own master clock.

Many of the other watches made at that time diverted the accuracy of the watch by almost up to half an hour each day, whereas Graham’s watches were one of those timepieces that did not differ by more than one second per day.
